What's more important? A companies bottom line, versus hiring part timers that don't give a shit? That's what companies will get if they decide on hiring part timers. The part timers will go into the exchanges and buy plans suitable for their needs. They will bounce from job to job, looking for full time employment. Companies that hire them as part timers, will have high turnover rates, low productivity, and low morale overall.
And we all know what that leads too.
