Keep your nose out of politics. You want true separation of church and state? Pay your damn bills. You charge people coming in your church with that "passing the plate" act. You turn around and live in nice homes, while some in your congregation live in deplorable, slum lord ran apartments.
And now you are worried about paying your fair share that we all do? If I ran a church, the last thing I would do is ask not to pay my utilities. Your own congregation pays its utilities, why not you? Stop being selfish. Christ told you "render unto Caesar, that is Caesar's". So stop with the pity act. You stick your nose in people's private lives. You protect insurance companies, of all entities, from stopping people from obtaining contraception, and abortions, even in the case of rape and incest.
And now you have the balls to complain about a water bill? What else are you getting away with?
