Imagine just for a moment if that pot, forget the coke, was legal and taxed like cigarettes? What would you say that may net the city? Double? Triple? If you guessed triple, you are on to something. Just last year a study/proposal was released that had an estimated "377 million dollars" for the State of Illinois, if they increased the tobacco tax by a buck.
