Another news source claimed it happened in the Austin neighborhood, which is sort of incorrect. The 4600 block of Jackson Street sits on the border of Austin and Garfield Park. So, I take it the local media just said, Fuck it, let's split the difference. Yet, the bottom line is the fact that another kid will not become an adult because of a dickhead with an illegally obtained firearm. There are only two questions that remain. Why was that kid out past curfew? What did the parent or parents say about why he was out there around one in the morning? I'm out.

Now, an officer is dead and another wounded because of a fucking revolving door criminal justice system. A felony conviction should mean your ass stays in prison for either life or you are too old to even wipe your ass should you get out.
