Now ask yourself, who's against including fingerprints along with a state Id or drivers license for obtaining a gun card? Only someone with something to hide. If the background check system worked properly, it would check all applicants against criminal records. It's only drawback is that it can't access mental health records also. That should also be included in the legislation instead of fucking finger pointing. People with criminal records and mental health issues should never be allowed access to firearms.

Yesterday, the blood thirsty GOP politicians in the state of Tennessee are trying to pass a bill that will let anyone carry a gun without a permit. Law enforcement officials are pleading with them not to do this. Do you think they will listen? My money is on nope. The GOP only wants to make things worse, not better. A mandatory universal background check and a two week waiting period will prevent those unqualified from making gun purchases and help law enforcement.
