Madness Continues: 2 killed, 10 wounded in Thursday shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/31/18646955/2-killed-10-wounded-thursday-shootings-may-31

Wow! It's been non-stop this week. How in the hell do these repeat offenders get their hands on these guns? I know if they are stolen, the owner must report it. I know they steal them off trains. Why are the trains not secured? I know they get them from weak gun law states. Why can't we sue them? What in the hell is the ATF doing?

Madness Continues: 4 killed, 4 wounded Wednesday in Chicago shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/2019/5/30/18645397/4-killed-4-wounded-wednesday-chicago-shootings-roseland-south-chicago-chatham-englewood

Just brutal. In the meantime, our politicians, clergy, and prosecutors continue ignoring the carnage. There's isn't a joint press conference from them about "flooding the streets" on a daily/nightly basis. Our so-called religious leaders are not showing any leadership. They haven't led a protest anywhere. Not even in the neighborhoods where these horrors happen. Still wondering why?

Madness Continues: 3 killed, 5 wounded Tuesday in Chicago shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/29/18643810/3-killed-5-wounded-tuesday-chicago-shootings-roseland-austin-logan-square-606-trail

https://chicago.suntimes.com/2019/5/28/18643132/lightfoot-memorial-day-weekend-violence-chicago-police-shootings-city-club

It's business as usual with the first link. The second link is what I've been talking about off and on with this and past postings. In a nutshell, there's no decent wage paying jobs in the inner city. This all happened when this country went from a manufacturing base into a retail based economy. So what do you do? That's the question everyone should ask the politicians.

Madness Continues: 39 shot, 7 killed in Memorial Day weekend gun violence

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/26/18639572/39-wounded-7-killed-shootings-may-24-may-27-memorial-day-weekend-gun-violence-police-cpd

Look on the bright side, it could have been hundreds dead and wounded. Yet, in the meantime our politicians, clergy, and prosecutors continue ignoring all the carnage. I guess all of them are still stuffed and hungover from yesterday's festivities?

Madness Continues: 32 shot, 5 killed so far in Memorial Day weekend gun violence

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/26/18639572/11-wounded-in-shootings-may-24-may-27

So much for the "flood the streets strategy". In the meantime, there's been no follow up joint press conference since. There's still no protest led by religious leaders on city hall and the state capitol demanding action. Are you still wondering why?

It's Still Madness: 27 shot, 5 killed so far in Memorial Day weekend gun violence

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/26/18639572/11-wounded-in-shootings-may-24-may-27

So much for "flooding the streets with cops". What the politicians fail in seeing is that these assholes have nothing. No education, no job prospects, nothing but dope for making a living. They have no moral compass because the racial injustice system tore families apart.

Public housing was designed specifically in destroying/tearing families apart. Fathers could not live under the same roof and guide their children towards a better life. That is the standard playbook of "The Willie Lynch Letter". Look it up and read it. In urban neighborhoods there's only grocery stores big and small., and restaurants, and they don't pay a living wage. In urban neighborhoods you can't grow coco and make cocaine. Until politicians fix certain problems in these war zones like letting fathers help raise their children instead of barring them because of bullshit income based housing rules, maybe, just maybe this mayhem will slow down.

Madness Continues: 1 killed, 10 wounded in Thursday shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/24/18638306/1-killed-10-wounded-in-thursday-shootings-may-23

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/24/18638529/memorial-day-weekend-chicago-drug-crime-raids-32-arrested

Stunning isn't it? Well, the good news is less violence on the south side of town with the roundup of mini-terrorist on drug and gun charges. My only question is what will they do about the "21" repeat offenders they caught during the raid? Hopefully, they will lock them away for life. I know, wishful thinking with our revolving door criminal justice system. With that being said, try and remember those who served this weekend.

Madness Continues: 1 killed, 7 injured Wednesday in Chicago shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/23/18636798/chicago-shootings-wednesday-gresham-humboldt-park-lawndale

Damn shame. In the meantime, there's still no joint press conference from politicians, clergy, and law enforcement explaining what they will do about this carnage. There's no mass protest led by religious leaders on city hall and the state capitol. There's nothing but dead silence. Are you still wondering why?

Wednesday, May 22, 2019

Madness Continues: 6 shot Tuesday in Chicago

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/22/18635000/6-injured-shootings-gun-violence-logan-square-chatham-longwood-manor-dan-ryan-expressway

In the meantime, there's no arrest made in the two days of shootings. The shit-head that car-jacked the teacher was caught. The politicians and clergy are still pretending everything is just fine. There's still no mass protest led by religious leaders on city hall or the state capitol. Are you still wondering why six people got shot Tuesday?

Madness Continues: Woman killed by gunfire among 7 shot Monday in Chicago

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/21/18633636/monday-shooting-roundup-chicago-gun-violence-chatham

Meanwhile, the new mayor vows ending this madness. The only way this will happen is if you give them good paying jobs. But we all know crime will always exist. There are just evil people on earth. Two people stole one hundred guns. One was caught, the other still on the run. You can reduce the gun violence with better education, good paying jobs, and legalizing marijuana. But, what about the crack, cocaine, and smack users? They will always steal and kill for that high. Hopefully the taxes collected from marijuana sales will cover most cost of good mental health services and staff. But, the big question is how greedy will politicians become and fuck that up? In the meantime, several shot.

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/20/18630430/2-wounded-in-shootings-across-chicago-since-friday-evening-may-17-may-20

In the meantime, it's business as usual for our politicians, clergy, and prosecutors as they continue ignoring the carnage as a new mayor gets sworn in. There's still no joint press conference explaining what they will do about it. There's no mass protest led by religious leaders on city hall or the state capitol demanding action. Well, there was one this weekend but they avoided the ravaged neighborhoods. Are you still wondering why?

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/2019/5/18/18630787/fatal-shooting-robbery-south-chicago

That's a lot of shooting for a Saturday. Out of all of the carnage, one of the terrorist got shot and is charged, get this, not with attempted murder but aggravated battery. This terrorist shot two people and then got shot himself, possibly a retaliation shooting for the two wounded. Why in the hell did you charge him like that and not attempted murder? This wasn't random, it was premeditated. He sought them out. This is another reason why the criminal justice system needs reforming along with the bone-headed prosecutor using slap on the wrist charges.

This is a reason why they will not stop killing and maiming people. They know they will get a slap on the wrist and not life in prison. With that being said, you can now stop wondering why nothing is being done by politicians, clergy, and prosecutors.

Madness Continues: 1 killed, 3 injured in Friday shootings

There's your Thursday/Friday shooting roundup. In the meantime, it's business as usual for our politicians and clergy as they continue ignoring the carnage. There's still no joint press conference explaining how they will tackle this problem. The so-called religious leaders are not leading protest marches on city hall or the state capitol demanding action. And by the way, I haven't seen one report of an arrest made anywhere this month. Don't you find that odd?

https://chicago.suntimes.com/crime/2019/5/16/18627459/8-shot-1-killed-englewood-chicago-lawn-west-pullman

In the meantime, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring the carnage. There's still no joint press conference explaining what they will do about it. Our religious leaders are not leading protest marches in these affected neighborhoods, nor city hall and at the state capitol demanding action. Are you still wondering why?

Wednesday, May 15, 2019

Madness Continues: 3 killed, 7 wounded Tuesday in Chicago shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/2-killed-8-wounded-in-tuesday-shootings/

In the meantime, our politicians, clergy, and prosecutors continue ignoring the carnage on a daily basis. Law enforcement just basically reacts when the gunfire erupts. Detectives must rely on eyewitness statements and go from there. If a suspect is ever caught and charged, it's the prosecutors and judges that must ensure the suspect is convicted and never released on our streets ever again. Why is that so difficult? Well, some witnesses refuse testifying out of fear from gang retaliation. Others fear the police. So what do we do as a nation about this problem?

Madness Continues: 6 shot — 1 killed — Monday in Chicago

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/5-shot-1-killed-chicago-gun-violence-lawndale-west-town-humboldt-park/

We are now fourteen days into this month of May, and there has not been one day without a shooting. What is wrong with this society? Why haven't are politicians expressed outrage? Why haven't our so-called religious leaders stepped in and intervened calling for an end with this madness? There's nothing but silence on both ends of leadership. Are you still wondering why?

Monday, May 13, 2019

Weekend Madness Roundup: 4 killed, 16 wounded in Chicago weekend shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/chicago-weekend-shootings-may-10-may-13/

Damn shame isn't it? What I mean by shame, is the fact there's no outrage from political and religious leaders. There's no joint press conference expressing outrage or offering a solution. What's even more outrageous, is the lack of leadership from the so-called religious leaders of many faiths. There's not one peep of moral outrage, or actions of interventions with these murderous elements in their own neighborhoods.

That's a lot of gunfire for a Saturday. In the meantime, our so-called political, religious, and law enforcement officials are continuing acting like it's no big deal because it's only Black and Brown people killing and maiming each other. If you don't believe it, just look at the links. Five shootings in one day. No joint press conference explaining how they will curtail it. Do you need anymore proof?

We end April with four shot and one death. Meanwhile, the second link trouts out the polished turd of lower violent crime compared with April 2018. How do you sit there with a straight face with 136 dead people in four months and say it could have been worse? Of those 136 murders in four months, how many have been solved? I'll wait for an answer.
