IKEA apologizes for use of East German prison labor
Don't you love that old excuse; "We didn't know". If that isn't a mega load of bullshit, I'm a republican. Corporations don't give a rat's ass about anything but the bottom line.
Since the end of slavery, corporation have been looking for cheap labor. Once they find a source of such labor, corporations go through great pains to conceal such tactics. It's only when they get caught, you hear that same old bullshit excuse. These corporations know what they are doing. It really doesn't matter what country it happens in. We know how they will find new ways for fucking people over, just to protect their bottom line.
