Well that's all fair and good but, you still haven't huddled with criminal justice professionals about the mini-terrorist running the streets here. Breaking news. We know the police department has bad apples and indifferent officers for years. Look at your asinine residency requirement. The bulk of your officers live safe sections on the border of the city. How many actually live in these gang infested neighborhoods? None.
If they did, guess what? Shootings would go down. Once again, another simple solution. Yet, in the meantime, all of you elected officials continue ignoring the carnage, and point fingers at one another. Take baby steps in fixing the problems. Make those cops move into those areas, or resign.
