Business as usual for these lost souls. The same goes for our spineless elected officials.
The lost souls know our current sentencing guideline system is a joke. They know they will get the proverbial slap on the writs even with numerous prior convictions. So, they continue shooting. Our spineless lawmakers know this and continue doing nothing in addressing the issue.
Take note on every election cycle, they never come on our side of town for any debates. This is a deliberate move. They hate hearing what's really going on, and don't want you asking why they can't come up with such a simple solution like fixing the broken sentencing guidelines.
Meanwhile, it's business as usual for both.
