If you want better background checks, make the gun makers and sellers have some type of accountability. While we slept, lobbyist wrote laws protecting gun makers and sellers from lawsuits. This isn't right.

Such laws currently on the books, should face repealing. Doing such will force these makers and sellers to accept the shared responsibility of putting weapons in the hands of criminals. As of now, they don't. And why should these two be free to shrug their shoulders and say; it isn't my fault? Since states are allowing those of limited intelligence to "open carry, concealed carry", what have we learned? Well for starters, they love intimidating non-armed civilians in parks, and stores with their non-armed children. What purpose did passing such an unconstitutional law hold? Please explain to me why they are not required to carry liability insurance? Please explain why insurance companies are not dropping these people like flies? They are just a shooting away from exploding premiums.

Our elected leaders that let such legislation breeze through are not competent enough to foresee the ramifications of such deadly legislation. All they were interested in was stuffing their pockets with money. This isn't right.
