The city and state doesn't care. Their drug-addled kids are safely stowed away in private schools, and may have never heard, or seen a laundry mat in their lives. When a stray bullet catches an innocent life, they run towards any rolling camera faking outrage, and demanding something be done. And then the next day, nothing is done.
In their isolated world, it's nothing but Black and Brown people killing each other. So why bother? Like the man said. "Gangs, gangs, gangs, gangs..."
