I told you this shit spreads. But, here's the thing. We know how to fight this violence but the political will is just not there. Anyone with a brain knows inequality breeds crime. Obtaining a college degree has astronomical cost. Racist policies made that possible. Decades ago, one needed just a high school diploma in order to obtain employment in the police and fire departments. When Blacks began applying in large numbers, all of a sudden that requirement was raised. I could go on and on but, you get the picture. Inequality is the root cause of crime. That is the big issue our politicians must address. The people need and deserve a decent living wage. If we don't do that, the violence will continue.
