Well the study should cite it's only because uncaring drug dealers make the kids commit these horrific crimes. One can imagine a low-life drug dealing adult telling a kid; Don't worry, you'll only get a slap on the wrist.
These kids don't know the law. The odds are great they dropped out of high school. In reality, it's all in reverse. It's the uncaring drug dealer that gets the slap on the wrist.
