8 Wounded In Shootings Across Chicago On Wednesday « CBS Chicago



Here's the deal police. You already know they are known gang members. Do you really need anymore probable cause for a search warrant for weapons? You know where they live, and where they hang out. I'm even betting once you get a stolen vehicle report, you already know it will be used in a drive-by. I know you have a strategy for this and that, but when are you going with what you already know, and act on it?


Look, I'll concede the ones standing on the corners are not very bright. For rival gang members, they are nothing but target practice. We will also concede the drive-by concept. But what is missing here, is the fact all of these shootings occur in your designated known gang zones. It's not a question of being everywhere, every-time. It's happening where you already know it's going too happen. I'm pretty sure that one, or two of these shootings took place where you have cameras installed. So again I ask, when are you planning on acting? You have the data, and cameras. Are you going to repeat the mistake of the past? You know, when you cut off the head and let the remaining brain dead boobs we have now shoot up the streets.


Look, do the right thing. Put cameras in the alley's, and in these neighborhoods. And for you privacy rights folks, they don't look inside your house. That's why curtains are still being made. But I digress. Get serious law enforcement. You have the data, and cameras. It's time for action.
