Not surprising right? It's also not surprising even with that mass shooting in Texas, that politicians continue ignoring and not considering any legislation slowing this shit down. Check out the second link. A fucking 17 year old has a gun. Illegally obtained no doubt, and shoots at police. I hope the criminal justice system doesn't fuck this open and shut case up. This should be an easy 50 year sentence with no fucking parole. All we can do is hope right?

The second link is proof these terrorist don't care about any life. If you are dumb enough to engage law enforcement, that's just proof you have zero regard for any human life. The second link is a partial solution for a drop in shootings across the city. But, as true to form, our politicians and the wealthy will get greedy and fuck it up for everyone.

Instead of using the revenue marijuana legalization will bring into the city and state for roads, bridges, and replacing aging pipes and sewer systems, they will give it to greedy corporations who'll want to privatize the shit out of these much needed projects around the city and state. If you don't believe that, just look at how they fucked the state lottery up. Those proceeds were designated for a "school fund" so we wouldn't have teacher strikes and better, fully funded schools so they couldn't slash curriculum's, academic or athletic. What did our brain-dead politicians do? Sold it. Privatize the shit out of it. Look at your pensions. The same politicians conned your union leaders into giving that hard earned money to Wall Fucking Street. These fuckers gambled your money without a care in the world. They then turn around and tell you that they must cut your hard earned pensions so the city and state can stay afloat.

Fucked up right? Now, what do we have?  More dead and wounded. No infrastructure rebuilding. Public school debt. City debt. State debt. We gave taxpayer money to corporate owners who just put the fucking money in their pockets. The city and state is waving 2 billion taxpayer dollars in a companies face just to move here, and we have homeless veterans living on the streets.

Honestly, I hope they do legalize and tax marijuana just like booze. I hope they learn from the mistakes of the past. But, I'm not holding my breath. We still have politicians and the wealthy chomping at the bit just to fuck it all up for everyone.

With regards on the second link, I have no problem with the police departments budget request. My only beef is that they don't oust the bad apples. Any other person caught committing a crime justice is swift. Yet when they do it, shit just drags on and on and usually ends up in civil, not criminal court. Otherwise, our merry little terrorist haven't taken a break from their mayhem yesterday. Are you still wondering why nothing is being done?

It is always a complete head scratching thing at the beginning of each month they release the shootings of the prior month. The only problem I have with that is the first headline or link you come across. Two dead and seven wounded last night. That's fucked up.

My guess for the drop in deaths and wounded is, these terrorist are running out of victims or, these kids are waking up and discovering that life just isn't fucking worth it. I'm hoping the latter is the case.

I guess the monthly tally is supposed to make us feel better because it implies, well, it could have been worse. That's sarcasm folks. Two dead and seven wounded in one day is fucked up.
