It's a verified fact that violent crime is down nationwide but, when you wake-up every morning and see the above headlines, you question it. I'd be willing to speculate many of the offenders have multiple arrest records. Which begs the question, why are they out of prison so soon? Take the last link for example. A dude shoots two women then shoots himself. Is it the if he can't have them no one can mindset? No. It's a mental illness and this person should have been confined.
