9 Killed, 39 Wounded In Weekend Shootings Across Chicago: Another hot weekend ended with dozens of people rushed to the emergency room with gunshot wounds. Shootings left nine people dead and 39 wounded over the weekend.

Dueling headlines that conflict. I'll take the first link over the second as a tad more accurate. But, in the meantime our politicians, clergy, law enforcement, and prosecutors are still not demanding more cameras being put up on side streets and alleys. I find the silence maddening.
