One would think this is a good time for getting healthy officers off desk duty and finally hiring civilians. Civilians can answer phones, operate computers, and do paperwork just as good as any cop. I know, I worked at central booking as a teen and was very good at it. In the meantime, it's business as usual for our politicians as they continue ignoring this insane carnage. Are you still wondering why?
