With all the "extra police" on the streets this shit still happened. Hell! They even took a shot at an ambulance. Let alone the fact that one person is dead and another eight were wounded yesterday, don't you think it's time they get serious about sentencing guidelines and keep these assholes in prison for life?
There's no rehabilitating repeat offenders because they keep repeating the same crime. Let's give these "known gang members" life in prison and just fucking be done with it. Our stupid, racist governor only wants the death penalty for cop killers and not the victims. That's some straight racist bullshit. Any politician that agrees with that approach, is just as racist. With that being said. Let's get serious about criminal justice reform and fix the sentencing guidelines that will keep these assholes in prison for life.
