Wow! On track to top the infamous numbers put up last year. It all boils down to education and jobs. There's a boarded up public school not even a half a block from me. It's been like that for years. Why doesn't the Board of Education sell that property to a developer so they can create jobs? Why don't they convert it into a job placement center? There's so many things you can do with that huge lot of land.
One could tear it down and build affordable housing. A grocery store? A movie theater? A job training center? Yet, there it sits abandoned for decades. Just imagine the jobs created by developing that property for any use? So many things one can do with that huge lot of land.
