Gee! I wonder what sparked all this mayhem? Could it be gang affiliations? A battle over drug turf? Or just a bunch of felons that have access too guns that the average law abiding citizen doesn't? In either scenario, here's the bottom line. Do those so called "Gun Shot Detectors" even work anymore? I'm betting they don't.
I have noticed the media and law enforcement isn't touting how those million dollar detectors are not responsible for assisting in capture of these armed felons. Why? I saw a story yesterday on how Peoria Illinois is launching the same technology. I wonder how long it will take them in finding out how effective it is? We here in Chicago certainly don't know about such things. Why? If anyone hasn't noticed, this nation is still under sequestration. Maybe the funds have just dried up? But wait, that can't be the case since Peoria is getting it after all these years later. Maybe it's after they get it, no more funding for upkeep. Yeah, that's the ticket.
