Yes folks there is a difference between shooting someone in the head, and the ass. It's about survival rates.
Asides from that, you know when your credibility is taking a nose-dive, when the local newspaper just runs the headline, and not a story along with it. Once again the police department polishes up another turd for trotting out.
Okay, you claim murders are down, but what about the increase in shootings? From my take, the city is averaging at the very least, 30+ weekend shootings. Forget about the others happening throughout the week! Look, criminals/terrorist are dumb, but not that dumb. They know the difference between a murder charge, and an attempted murder charge.
Unless they have complete hatred, or no soul whatsoever, they will not risk a murder charge. So they shoot one another in the ass or leg, because they know our fucked up sentencing laws will give them slaps on the wrist. So yeah police department, go right ahead with your polished turd when shootings rise. It's about survival anyway.
