Shootings continue: Woman killed, seven wounded Monday night - Chicago Sun-Times
Look, don't act like you are shocked by this. I've been telling all that read this post they will not stop, because our lawmakers, and law enforcement officials don't care. The lawmakers haven't pushed one constitutionally legal piece of legislation in addressing this crisis. Law enforcement can't do anything but enforce the "wrist-slap" laws currently on the books. Henceforth, indifference.
Just take a look at other states that have strong, constitutionally legal gun laws on the books. Crime/shootings are down. That's a statistical fact. Look at this "do-nothing state". The media, local, and national, will not address the real issue behind this crisis. They just look for the wrong people to blame. They blame is with our city, and state legislators for not passing any legislation. The only argument you here from the press, "the police fudged the shooting numbers...".
Henceforth, indifference.
