That sounds like they went too the wrong house, scared the shit out of this clown, who may have thought he was being robbed. What other explanation can there be?
They have a search warrant for dope, they find no dope. All one can do is hope the drunk/pot guy legally owned the gun. So far, from the non-informative article, the reporter didn't bother with a follow-up from the folks that were released.
Oh well. More questions, less answers. Lazy journalism at its worst.
