The Mayor, Top Cop, City, County, and State prosecutors should come out with a public service announcement stating, "We will catch you, and you will stay in prison for as long as legally possible".
It would be the best tool, including fully staffed police departments they can show. Yet sadly, our lawmakers down state can't get their act together, and reform the sentencing guidelines. They prefer doing stupid shit like "borrowing money for a presidential library", instead of paying the states bills, and fixing broken infrastructure. They listen and bow to their real masters, and let complete idiots carry concealed weapons on our streets. This kind of makes it tough for law enforcement to combat crime, when these good for nothing legislators cripple every effort.
So, the only tool the Mayor, Top Cop, City, County, and State prosecutors have is a public service announcement. In the long run,"crime doesn't pay." So, they will catch all of you, eventually, and hopefully, stay in prison for as long as legally possible.
