"Basking in the glow..."? Whoever the writer of this article is, he or she should consider a class in word choice. Don't get me wrong. Any news about declining shootings is always a good thing. But touting it with such phrases, is kind of creepy considering all the innocents that were caught in the crossfire.
Once again. It's good news. But those that deal with such violence on a nearly daily basis, can detect your total out of touch, it doesn't affect you, writing skills. I don't think the innocents, and their parents are "Basking...".
