Well, asides from the other guy getting shot by someone he knew, while sitting or riding in a car, it appears business as usual for the mini cartels are back in action.
Meanwhile, our lawmakers still have no legislation dealing with these terrorist. What else could you expect? The city itself can't even pass constitutional gun control laws, like other places have. There's no magic bullet here folks. There will always be people that are just plain evil. But we and our elected officials can do things that will bring the shootings down legally.
It begins with education and jobs. Once you work on those areas, move on towards legalization of marijuana. That's not only a smart budgetary move for cities, and states, it also produces jobs. Just a few of these actions, will damage business as usual for these mini cartels.
