The senate GOP continues blocking reasonable gun reform legislation that's supported by a majority of Americans. That legislation includes, universal background checks which a super majority of Americans want. Texas gave a big middle finger towards law enforcement by making easier to get a gun than a fucking drivers license or a voter Id. So much for the "Pro-Life" party.

Interesting situation we have here. There was a mass shooting in California which is getting more press coverage than the daily mass shootings across the country in urban neighborhoods. If you don't believe that, just go online or pick-up your daily local newspaper. Aside from that, our religious leaders of all faiths still don't care. Documented gang members reeking havoc on cities across the country. If anyone wishes enjoying some time outdoors must first think about the company they keep because, they may be in the presence of a rival documented gang member. Which begs the question, why would you risk getting shot?
Case in point. A 16 year old girl got shot only because she was sitting in a car with a male. Two subject approached the vehicle. That's a clear indication they knew the male in the car, and began firing away with no regard for life. So, I ask again. Why would you risk your life of getting killed, or maimed because of the company you keep?
