Yeah! You read that right. There's a lot of things/solutions that can be undertaken in stopping this madness. But, none are being undertaken. The policy makers know what steps should be in-place, but refuse doing so. We ourselves know inequality is a major culprit. Yet, none of the policy makers are undertaking any attempt at this problem. There's no national minimum wage of 15 bucks an hour. Some states have such plans "phased-in" over a period of years. But, this is a we need it now problem. There's no universal healthcare plan in-place. Our public schools in Black and Brown communities are devastatingly under funded. That's a snapshot of the problems these areas face, and not being addressed. Until the policy makers address this, shootings, drug use, and gangs will continue. Low paying jobs don't cut it. Lack of educational funding doesn't cut it. The flow of guns from states with weaker gun laws don't cut it. The lack of universal healthcare doesn't cut it. The flow of drugs into the United States doesn't cut it. Fix these problems and you will have a better America for all. In the meantime, stay safe, and stay home.
