Meanwhile, even with the peaceful shutdown of the Dan Ryan Expressway our politicians continue ignoring the carnage. They still haven't held a joint press conference explaining how they will deal with this issue. Academics and even laymen can explain that this is a organized crime issue and should be dealt with as such. But, for some odd reason, politicians, prosecutors, and judges can't comprehend it as such due to their lack of response and action. All they continue doing, is pretending it doesn't exist because it only happens in minority neighborhoods. Are you still wondering why?
