Madness Continues: Man shot while playing basketball in Lawndale

That's only the infamous tip of the iceberg. There was several other people wounded yesterday that raised the total to eight. Yet in the meantime, our politicians continue ignoring the carnage. Also, an appellate court in California ruled you can "open carry" a gun. Gee! I guess we will not need police departments anymore since these ghouls want everyone armed.

Think about that for a second. If our courts especially the Supreme Court, decides we can just openly carry around guns, why would you need a police department? Imagine the tax money saved? That's a GOP wet dream come true. The GOP is for privatizing all governments functions at the city, county, state and federal levels. They been waiting for any chance to gut pensions for police and firefighters without pissing them off for years. They first began by attacking teachers so they could see how far they could go. Now, with this ruling, that will surely be appealed, they'll bide their time and wait for the outcome. If the NRA/GOP are successful, you will slowly see them calling and implementing privatization  plans for police departments. After-all, who'd need them if everyone is armed?
