What happened with charging them also with attempted murder and possession of an illegally obtained firearm along with the rest of the charges? This is what is wrong with our criminal justice system.
I'm willing to go out on a limb and bet if not one, both have past criminal histories and possibly on probation or parole. People of this ilk should spend a maximum of 25 years in prison. This is what is wrong with our criminal justice system.
