Our elected legislature still refuses getting off their collective asses and doing anything about this problem. A simple tweak of the sentencing guidelines should do the trick. Yet these spineless cowards can't mustard the courage in bringing this up for a vote or discussion. Yet, here we are with the "highest paid legislature in the nation". WTF?
