Finally, a lawmaker with a brain.
Look at the facts folks before you jump up and down with false talking points about marijuana consumption. It's proven science about the benefits of marijuana's medicinal applications. It was only designated as a dangerous drug because of hard lobbying, greedy, timber barons.
If it was good enough for the founding fathers to farm, cultivate, and sell, what's so evil about it? Look at all the tax revenue being lost, and the potential jobs gained with legalization.
You just can't use that tired old argument of gateway drug. It's been proven false for decades. And just like booze, it's still being consumed. Should a mad doctor claim it affects brain motor skills, tell him so does booze in a much worse way. I'd rather walk towards the fridge and snack high, then jump behind the wheel drunk.
It's a no brainer folks. Tax it, regulate it, just like booze. Employer's should treat it the same way they do alcohol use in the workplace. In more simpler terms, don't come to work drunk, or high, simply because no person would want to work around someone under the influence.
I only hope more lawmakers will wake up with a brain like this one.
