What a world. Impeachment inquiries, and rampant gun violence across the nation. If you don't believe it, just pick up your local paper, or go online locally and see how many people got shot, even police officers in the line of duty. Sure, there will always be bad elements in any society, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't do shit about it.
The GOP controlled senate still hasn't passed gun reform legislation that includes universal background checks, because the NRA said so. The majority of Americans including gun owners want this legislation passed. Yet, the GOP will not bring it on the floor for a vote because, the NRA which a American city designated as a "terrorist organization" said so. How long will the voters allow this? The nations top law enforcement officials haven't held a joint press conference demanding the GOP controlled senate the gun reform legislation. And when you think about it, the lack of attention the so-called religious leaders are showing on these issues is astounding. We the people want this legislation passed. But apparently, these three groups think we shouldn't do shit about it.
