As you can tell, it's business as usual for the first link. But that second link really explains the lack of enforcement, or the people needed making sure felons don't get guns legally or illegally. Parole/probation officers funding was gutted decades ago and this is always the end result when essential services are destroyed. Crime increases. Are you still wondering why?
