That second link is a trip. There's not much background reporting on if this clown was a repeat offender, but the charge of selling while carrying a gun raised the proverbial red flag. Maybe the judge was one of his clients? Could that be a reason his bail was reduced? I would not want to be in that judges shoes if he/she must run for retention on the bench. This "fugitive" is a classic example of why the sentencing guidelines are a complete failure and must be reformed. 40 years for dope and a gun no doubt, illegally obtained. That should have been an automatic life sentence. While all that was going on, our politicians and clergy still don't care about the shootings happening all around the country. Let both of those links sink in.
