In the meantime our politicians and clergy continue ignoring the carnage. There's still no joint press conference detailing how they will fight it. There's still no mass marches on city halls and state capitols demanding gun safety legislation. Hell! a rural school board in this state is voting on arming teachers. Now why would they do that? More guns don't solve the problem. You can't fix this madness by shooting at each other? The only outcome from such a situation is you are either dead, or horribly maimed. Think about that.
