That's the number one question I've asked since jumping on Blogger. When oh when, will our politicians and clergy act? If history is any indicator of change, observe the students demanding gun control now from the politicians.

When the gangsters ran wild during prohibition using "Tommy Guns", politicians and preachers yelled enough and changed the law. When the Black Panther Party decided as law abiding citizens, that they as a last resort against police oppression and violence, will utilize the open-carry law in California, the politicians acted and repealed the law. When some idiot thought assault style weapons in civilian hands was a good idea until, criminals began using them against law enforcement and civilians, the politicians banned them.

Then, another idiot that was bought and paid for by the NRA demanded the assault weapons ban expire. Look what happened after that genius move. School shootings became common. Now, here we are at another turning point in history and this time, our nations youth are turning the tide and demanding common sense gun control from the politicians.
