Meanwhile, our politicians continue ignoring the carnage. Sadly, I get the fact there's no opportunity for these poorly educated dolts in gaining employment except in illicit trades, but one would think with the easy influx of guns in not only this city, but across the nation, a fucking light-bulb would go off in their heads and say fuck gangs.
Most of this carnage would decline if only politicians acknowledge, and address the oppressive policies they put in-place. Cutting education funding and closing schools doesn't help. It exacerbates the problem. Cutting mental health funding, and closing mental health facilities doesn't help. It also exacerbates the problem. Moving from a manufacturing base towards a consumer society without proper wage increases don't help. It also exacerbates the problem. Not legalizing marijuana drains city and state revenue. Locking pot-heads up cost taxpayers money.
