Just nothing because it hasn't affected their communities. The Black and Brown aldermen/women don't care because they get their paycheck and kickbacks. A remedy for this madness is so simple.
You can contact a constitutional law professor and have him/her and students draft legislation for gun control and sentencing guideline reform. The same with an economics professor and students for job opportunities. Or would you rather the greedy, racist lobbying group ALEC do it? There's your remedy for this madness.
