What a sad state of affairs it truly is with all this senseless violence. It's not only this city folks, anyone with internet access can check out local stories from news sites across the nation, and see the same senseless pattern of violence.
We all know the culprit or better yet culprits behind this menace. Economic inequality, proliferation of illegally purchased guns, and lack of quality education in urban areas. For the nit-pickers out there, economic inequality is pluralistic. It basically translates into jobs, living wages, and superior public services for all.
That's the gist of what our elected officials should focus on. Yet as we all know, they have this very bad habit of doing nothing until it affects them. So in a nutshell, this senseless pattern of political laziness, encourages this present senseless pattern of violence.
