Alderman says police overtime is main reason he voted against mayor's budget
You know it's bad when the top cop has more power than your elected representative. How odd the racist call the President of the United States a "Emperor and Dictator." This guy wasn't elected, and refuses giving an accounting of where our tax dollars go. So who's responsible? Simple answer. Us.
We elect assholes, turn a blinds-eye, then bitch when they raise our taxes and not corporations. One of these election cycles, a person will run for office and tell us they will not tax us, but the very wealthy. That person will then inform us that those funds will be used for fully staffed police departments.
Yet, that will never happen. Corporations will never fund a progressive, independent candidate. We must. Until then, we'll continue electing assholes who will turn around and give more power to an unelected emperor.
