Hindsight is truly a mother, isn't it? The sad part about this story, is there is nothing that can be done about it. This guy does a 12 year stretch, and still pockets money.
The victims of his crime spree should be able to sue, shouldn't they? And if they can't, this is a major miscarriage of justice. Hey Mr. Mayor, can you talk to your law department and see what can be done? Or doing the right thing isn't your style?
The even sadder part, we still have so many convicted persons getting pensions while they sit behind bars. Something must be done. Now we know some of the things that impact budgets. Wow, must be nice getting that money, even while behind bars.
