Years ago, there was an effort to get more cops on the streets by hiring civilians for desk duty. Jobs like handling inquires, filing paperwork, yada, yada, yada. I wonder what happened with that plan now that the 8,000 deployed over the holiday weekend has come to an end? In addition, where will those 8,000 officers go? Why are they not still deployed? Those nine people shot yesterday wasn't just random acts of violence. They were all targeted terrorist attacks. Hell, even a car-jacking is an act of terror in the eyes of the victim. So, I ask again, why hasn't there been demands for passing legislation designating these ungodly monsters as domestic terrorist? Are you still wondering why?
