A heavy police presence reduces crime. Notice the lack of shootings in recent days? The only one so far is a cop with back-up shooting an idiot that didn't follow instructions. True, they could have tasered the shit out of him. But, if he died from that they would still be in trouble. The same goes for the now defunct billy club.
