I'm sitting here thinking the second link had something to do with the lower weekend mayhem numbers. But still, that's way too many. But, as they say, progress is slow but marches on. Those numbers would be even lower if the GOP controlled senate got off their collective asses and passed gun reform legislation the democratic controlled house sent them back in February. And yes folks, that legislation includes universal background checks.
