6 Dead, 18 Wounded In Chicago Weekend Shootings:
I know, I know, everyday you wake up and see local headlines like this all across the nation. This city isn't alone on such monstrous tallies yet, we wonder why nothing is being done. Just read your local news section in print or online, and you also will shake your head in disgust, anger, and bewilderment. It's true isn't it? Nothing is being done.
The disgust, anger, and bewilderment stems from the fact all of our politicians refuse doing anything about it legislatively. It also comes from the fact our clergy regardless of practice, are not coming together and organizing nor demanding any legislative action. And lastly, why aren't the police chiefs in every city, suburb, village, and state not marching on city halls, state houses, and congress demanding those politicians do something beside pass guns everywhere laws? It really makes a person wonder why nothing is being done.
