They (police) need this information so they can compare information and crack down on straw buyers.
Law abiding gun owners have zero problem with such legislation. But you spineless politicians are afraid the NRA and its blood money will primary your gutless ass with some idiot running an ad shooting at fruit. Get a fucking backbone. Pass legislation for a national database so law enforcement can share and crack down on illegally obtained firearms straw buyers purchase in massive amounts. WTF?
