Meanwhile, politicians across the nation continue ignoring the carnage. If history has proven anything it's this. When you ignore this violence it will spread. The violence will eventually touch/harm someone you care about. That includes politicians. When it happens, politicians have a knack for making things worse as opposed too better. Remember the freak-out when the Black Panther Party took advantage of the laws on the books during the 60's? Politicians rushed legislation abolishing open carry laws. Now, they had a brain fart and re-introduced not only open, but concealed carry. Politicians made it easier for criminals getting access to guns via weaker restrictions in certain states.
With this action alone, regulation of access to guns causes chaos. With no universal background checks in-place and no sharing of this vital data, enforcement stalls. Hence, the violence we all currently see. Now, are you still wondering why?
